LIFE LESSONS FROM A SUNFLOWER
Sunflowers are bright, cheery, and have an incredible ability to make people smile. Their vibrant and bold colors symbolize joy, positivity, growth, and hope even during challenging times. From a small seed, a sunflower grows into a striking and resilient flower composed of countless tiny blossoms. This transformation reflects the power of building a strong foundation for continuous growth, a trait that enables sunflowers to thrive in diverse and sometimes harsh climates.
One of the most remarkable qualities of a sunflower is its ability to turn towards the sun, seeking light and nourishment, even on overcast days. This persistent focus on growth and positivity highlights their strength and adaptability. Sunflowers’ resilience symbolizes durability, optimism, and the inner strength needed to overcome life’s obstacles.
In moments of hardship, rather than allowing yourself to wither, embrace the sunflower’s lesson: turn toward your own source of light and continue to grow. Like a sunflower that stands tall and steadfast, I strive to maintain a positive outlook in the face of adversity and life’s personal challenges. Nature has a unique way of teaching us profound lessons. Whether you see yourself as a sunflower in full bloom or a struggling seedling, the choice to grow and thrive is always yours to make.
MY PHILOSOPHY AND APPROACH
My philosophy as a therapist is to honor the uniqueness of each individual and to provide a safe, supportive pathway toward growth and healing. My style is genuine, authentic, and collaborative. I believe that lasting change is possible when clients feel empowered to navigate their internal compass—a guide that will continue to serve them long after our work together has ended. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, support, and constructive challenges to help you uncover your strengths and move toward the life you envision.
Nature offers profound metaphors for growth through adversity. Sunflower seeds symbolize potential, transformation, and resilience, reminding us of the beauty that emerges through life’s cycles. This imagery informs my approach, as I work to cultivate resilience, promote growth, and support you in reclaiming your authentic self. Together, we will address the obstacles that distract you from living your fullest life or achieving your true potential.
Do we merely go through life’s challenges, or do we grow through them? Every experience, whether joyous or painful, holds the potential for insight and transformation. I look forward to supporting you on this next step toward personal growth, healing, and the discovery of your best self.

Services
TELEHEALTH SERVICES
With online therapy, you have the opportunity to connect with me from the comfort of your own space. Telehealth therapy has been beneficial to clients because of the accessibility of their sessions, and because the convenience of sessions allows for commitment to making time and space for ongoing self-care
CONSULTATION SERVICES
I also offer consultation services to clients seeking graduate school degrees in the mental health field, those looking to begin a private practice, or those providers/colleagues seeking self-care and support so they can effectively continue to provide therapy services to clients in their current position.
